3 Things You Didn’t Know About Kombucha

Who doesn’t crave a sip of soda now and then (Sprite all the way!)….and even though we know how HORRID soda is for us we still crave it’s fizzy goodness. If you crave those fizzy drinks then you might as well crave a healthy one, right? Stop reaching for soda and start reaching (or making) for kombucha. It’s all the rave and who doesn’t want to keep up-to-date on what’s “in”.

You might’ve heard some stuff about kombucha being full of probiotics and healthy for your gut, but let’s see if you knew any of these facts!

  1. Kombucha can cause a detox phase. A lot of people don’t get enough 2015-04-06-Kombucha-17probiotics and fermented foods in their diet, so when probiotics are introduced they immediately start working to detox all the toxins that have been built up in you for years and years. Most people that go through the detox phase will notice headaches, fever, diarrhea, mood swings and more. Some other funky names include: Tea Mould, Russian Jelly-fish, Tea Beer, Spumonto, and The Remedy of Immortality. Kombucha has been through so many different names and through so many different cultures it must be something pretty great.
